This is a small English Royal Worcester hard paste porcelain hand painted small covered patch box. The date is circa 1907.
The box is 1 ¼” by 2 ¾”, so small.
The patch box has many uses to hold small items. One use is to hold the wedding or engagement ring, or to present a ring to one's love.
The ground is shaded from yellow to tangerine.
The flowers and leaves are hand painted.
The edges are trimmed in gold.
There are no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing, just a tiny few flecks of wear to the gold trim.
The purple Royal Worcester crown mark has 16 dots to denote the year 1907. There is a handwritten number 22 and the estate wrote 1907 on the bottom. The mark is on the bottom and on the underside of the lid.
