This is a French Haviland & Co Limoges cake plate in the Cloverleaf pattern, Schleiger 98, on the Ranson blank. The date is circa 1894 to 1930.
The Cloverleaf pattern is one of small green leaves with red blossoms and it is a border pattern. Gold trim edges the plate.
A cake plate is the serving piece that holds a cake, not the small dessert plate that one uses to eat a slice of cake. There is an open handle at each end.
There are no chips, nicks, cracks or crazing.
The green underglaze mark is Haviland France. The red overglaze factory decorating mark is Haviland & Co Limoges.
