This is an English pink spangle glass art glass vase with mica flakes. The date is the 19th century, circa 1890.
The vase is 10 ¼” high and 6 ½” wide at the belly.
The rim is crimped with a clear glass trail. The belly is lobed.
The first layer of glass is white, the middle layer is pink with the silver mica flakes, and the outer layer of glass is clear. You can see your hands through all of the layers of the glass.
The pontil is round with a smooth snap-off in the middle.
There are no chips, nicks or cracks.
