This is a pair of Bohemian art glass vases, circa 1890.
The glass is a beautiful blue opal or opaline and sometimes called Bristol glass when the glass is made in England. When you hold a vase up and peer down through the neck, you can see your hand through the glass.
The vases appear to be mold blown. They are a matching pair, 10 ¼" high and 4" wide.
On each vase is a hand painted enameled branch or spray of berries, either goose berries or snow berries, with green, yellow and brown leaves and dainty white blossoms with yellow and gray.
The rim is polished flat and beveled on the outside.
The bottom is smooth and indented.
There are no chips, nicks or cracks. The bottom shows age wear.
