This is a Bohemian Austrian hard paste porcelain vase that is signed on the front by the artist. The date is circa 1894 to 1909.
The maker is Moritz Zdekauer of Bohemia, presently Stara Role, Czechia.
The vase is 12 ½" high and 6 ½" wide at the top, meaning this is a vase of substantial size and perfect to hold the stems of larger flowers in a bouquet.
The artist painted purple and lavender lilacs dangling down the sides. There are green and brown leaves and branches. The ground is shaded and blushed with peach, green and lavender.
The rim has a black enamel paint with a little bit of wear.
The artist's signature is "Morgan."
The green mark is M Z Austria with a crown and an animal. There are also two impressed numbers.
