This is a gorgeous Bohemian art glass vase. The maker is Rindskopf. The date is circa 1900.
There may or may not be a signature of some type. I provide a photo for your determination. If you look at the photo of the bottom of the vase, there appears to be a tiny etched signature in the gold spiral pointing up to the left corner. However it can just be how the glass is.
The vase is 11 ¼" high and 6" wide at the bulging neck. The mouth is ruffled; the rim is round.
The glass is called ox blood. The color is a deep purple, like amethyst. The glass is in spirals, blue iridescent spirals and the ox blood spirals. The inside of the vase is iridescent also, mostly gold. The spirals bulge inwards and the bulges can be felt inside the vase with the hands.
There are no chips, nicks or cracks. There are various small indentations in the glass that are part of the glass making process.
The pontil is deep, round, smooth with a snap off in the middle.
