This is a 19th century Bohemian purple amethyst art glass vase decorated with coralene beads. The date is circa 1890.
The vase is 6 7/8" high and 3" wide at the belly. The shape is one of a lower round belly and a long slender neck. The rim of the mouth is thin and polished flat.
The glass is a purple amethyst.
The decoration on the front of the vase is hand applied coralene beads in pink, yellow and green, showing as flowers and leaves. There is some white enamel around the beads and more white enamel towards the top.
The rim has some nibbling that shows as pinprick nicks, and can't be seen in a photo, just a slight roughness to the fingertips. There are bands of gold trim that show a lot of wear.
The bottom of the vase is smooth and rippled, without a circular indented pontil.
There are no nicks, chips or cracks other than the nibbling around the rim.
