This is a Bohemian glass large cologne or scent perfume bottle dating to the 19th century, circa 1880. The original stopper is missing; however I added a stopper as shown in one of the last photos, which is a bit wobbly, but I will pass it on as it is hard to find stoppers to fit.
The bottle is 5 7/8" high to the top of the rim and 2 ¾" at the base.
The beauty of this glass is that it is in three layers, an unusual blue is the top layer, a white is the middle layer and clear is the interior layer. The cuttings are intricate, forming designs all around the bottle. Around the middle are six panes, hand painted with enamel scrolls and tiny little roses. Around the lower neck are five small round panes with hand enameled roses. Gold outlines the cuttings.
The rim of the mouth is polished flat and beveled slightly on the outside. The bottom is round, indented and polished smooth.
There is gold wear, especially at the rim of the mouth.
There is an old nick in the top layer of the blue glass, towards the bottom, and I point to it in a later photo with red arrows.
This is a beautiful piece of glass, and the hand enameling is skillfully executed. And it is unusual.
