This is a French Limoges Haviland & Co chocolate pot. The date is 1893 to 1930.
The pot is 8 ½" high and 5" wide at the belly.
The pattern is a border pattern, Schleiger 558. The blank is Schleiger 6. The pattern is in a border around the top of the pot and on the lid. The pattern is one of green leaves on stems with red dots that are berries. The handle and finial are covered in gold. There is gold trim around the edges.
The blank has a raised design around the edges.
The glaze is white.
There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is minimal wear to the gold trim.
The green underglaze mark is Haviland France. The red overglaze factory decorating mark is Haviland & Co Limoges.
