This is a French Haviland & Co Limoges mustard pot in the Clover Leaf pattern. The date is circa 1893 to 1930.
The pot is 2 ¼" high to the top of the finial, 5" long and 3 7/8" wide.
The blank is Ranson with a gold trim. The finial is the Twig.
The pattern is the Clover Leaf, Schleiger 98, one of the few patterns I can identify easily. It is a border pattern and described as green leaves with a red blossom. It is one of the more popular patterns sought by today's Haviland collectors.
The mustard pot in this pattern is quite scarce and difficult to obtain.
The flat part of the underside of the attached under plate is bisque or unglazed.
There are no chips, cracks or crazing, and there is no obvious gold wear.
The marks are on the bisque part of the underside. The green mark is Haviland France. The red mark is Haviland & Co Limoges.
