This is a French Haviland & Co Limoges hard paste porcelain serving bowl, the size used for vegetables. The date is circa 1894 to 1930.
The bowl is 2 3/8” high, 10” long and 8” wide.
The pattern is Schleiger 270A, which is described as “Bright dark pink roses. No yellow, Dark green leaves.” There are some pale gray and pink roses too. The pattern hangs in swags from the rim, with a cluster of roses at the interior bottom. There are different flowers on the outer sides. The blank is 5, the Star blank. The gold trim is 22.
There is gold wear to the outer line of gold trim and this gold is mostly gone.
There are no chips, nicks, cracks or crazing. There are a few flacks in the white glaze.
The green underglaze mark is Haviland France. The red overglaze decorating mark is Haviland & Co Limoges.
