This art glass perfume bottle was made by one of the American glass companies during the Great Depression. The list of possible companies is DeVilbiss, Tiffin, Westmoreland and even Steuben. The date is circa 1925.
The bottle is 6 5/8” high and 2” wide at the foot.
The bottle is an atomizer. There is no atomizer bag. I did not try to move the brass fitting – don’t even know if it moves – so I don’t know if it still functions as an atomizer. I did not clean the brass, so there is patina on it.
The glass is beautiful. The bottom and stem, including the foot, is a clear bright blue. The body is more of a royal blue, so there is a contrast of blue colors.
There was gold trim on the body and around the foot at one time; it is mostly gone. There is a little bit of white something or other on the belly edge of the glass; I can’t feel it, just see it, so I don’t know what it is.
There are no chips, nicks or cracks.
