This is a set of six elegant French Limoges fine china porcelain cups and saucers. The maker is William Guerin. The date is circa 1900 to 1932.
Each cup is 1 5/8” by 3 3/4”. Each saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2”.
The pattern is quite elegant with lots of gold. The pattern is a border of leafy wreaths with dangling flourishes in red and green, with gold accents. The blank has line indentations at the base of each cup and around the cup ring of each saucer.
There are no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. There is no obvious gold wear.
The green underglaze mark is W.G. & Co with Limoges above and France below. The blue overglaze factory decorating mark is Wm. Guerin & Co Limoges France Higgins & Seiter. Higgins & Seiter is the store that asked for this set to be specifically decorated for a customer in this pattern.
