This is an American art glass vase produced by the Lungberg Studios in California. It is signed and dated on the bottom, with the date of 2000.

This vase is what the studio calls a Jack in the Pulpit vase. It is 9 ½” high, 6 ½” at the top from side-to-side and 3 ½” from front-to-back. The foot is round and narrows into a tall stem with an open leaf or flower petal at the top.

The glass is green and is one of their rarely produced jade green patterns. It is quite gorgeous. The green shows in different shades of stripes at the foot, then curves around the stem in ridges; at the top back, the stripes on the back look like the veins in a leaf or flower petal.

The mouth is coated with an iridescent chemical so as to create different colors in shifting light. The edge of the mouth is round and smooth.

The pontil has four distinct clear green glass plugs.

The signature on the bottoms reads as Lundberg Studios 2000 II.

There are no nicks, chips or cracks. There are light glares in the photos.
