This is a set of two bouillon cups and saucers with lids. The maker and factory decorator is Tressemann & Vogt. The date is circa 1892 to 1907.

The saucers are 5 ½”. The two handle cups are 1 ¾” by 1 ¼”. The lids are 3 ½”.

The border pattern is a factory transfer with green, yellow and pink leafy scrolls circling around yellow and pink flowers.

The blank has a wavy pattern on the rim and the bottom half of the cups. The finials look like a shell, outlined in gold, with leaves spreading out over the top of the lids. Each handle has a shell on the top with gold lines wrapping around the handle.

There is faded gold wear around the edges of the saucers. There is a little bit of gold wear elsewhere, mostly the edges and handles. There are no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing.

The reddish purple factory mark is TV inside a bell with Limoges below. The factory decorating mark is “Decore Pour M.V. Beveridge Washington D.C.”; Beveridge would be the store that asked for these dishes in this blank and this pattern.
