From a pottery company so rare and old that it is rarely found even on Google! This little vase is clearly marked Cura Ware with a lion base stamp. Is beautifully hand painted/decorated with hand painted fowers in rust and white with cobalt centers and accents and gold trim. The base also has a hand written number 83, also common for this age. Style, age and color place it made in the 19th century. A well known online guide refers to it's single piece as Victorian Porcelain, which is right with colors and style. So offered to you is this rare little vase... There is some crazing as one would expect and wear on the base, mild loss of gold coloring on trim but otherwise it is in excellent conditon !.
Measures just under 7 inches tall.
