Here is a photo album with pictures as found at a recent estate sale which is in poor condition but holds 44 pictures and tell part of a story of a young Sgt who was stationed in Japan. I will describe each as well as I am able to, in order as I look through the book. -The first picture is a just over 6 x 4 inches and is a shot of 6 men in dress sitting at a table. It has a little chunk missing and offers no explanation. -Small pic labeled SGT DE LAY AND PRIEST AT HEROSHIMA (as written) - 3 1/2" square photo marked LIBRARY (ME) SHINODAYOMA JAPAN and 3 1/2" square photo - DARK ROOM (ME) SHINODAYOMA JAPAN - 3 small or cut photos marked ME ETA JEMA TECK SCHOOL, SNAK BAR WATSON, ISH, GIZA LT McCORNELL and ETA JEMA SCHOOL - (soldier in uniform aiming gun) HUNTING ME - (2 photos of many doing calisthenics) P.T. SCHOOL -3 scenes without explanation - 7 1/2" by 5 1/2" of serviceman in uniform - likely the person who compiled the pics -far-off scene of serviceman walking down a road - 2 scenes. One of what appears to be a station of some sort and another beautiful shot of an Japanese woman. -Soldier/Servicemen with two Japanese children and a shot of a bedroom. -two Servicement holding rifles and a bird (successful hunt pic?) in front of old car -Two service me and lady.. -Pic of bunkhouse marked APRIL 1951 STUDER S.A.TEX (printed text on actual pic) and U.S. NAVEL SHIP SGT SYLVESTER ANTOLAK (this also printed on pic of the ship) -A pic of Officer in funny hat that is only half developed and a shot depicting a trick shot that makes a distant friend appear a miniature! -2 small shots marked PFC WALKER IN MY ROOM / BILL WAHL AT 382ND GEN. -Last but not least is a picture of a young Sgt with the name of BOBBY L WYOTT. I believe this may have been the owner of the album.
