One 5 piece place setting (multiples available) in the cool geometric art deco Caprice silverplate silverware pattern. This attractive art deco pattern dates back to 1937 and was marketed by Oneida under their Nobility Plate backstamp and features quadruple plating. I do have multiple place settings available so you can choose just the perfect size dinner service set you desire. There may even be more than is listed so if you require a larger amount, please inquire!
The 5 piece place setting consists of:
1 Modern Stainless Blade Hollow Handle Dinner Knife 9-1/4"
1 Dinner Fork 7-5/8"
1 Salad Fork 6-1/2"
1 Oval Soup Spoon 7-3/8"
1 Teaspoon 6-1/8"
The pieces are marked "Nobility Plate 4 crowns" except the dinner knives which are simply marked "Stainless" on the blades.
In the last photo, I have shown a sampling of some of my other art deco patterns I am offering in other listings. Choose one place setting from each pattern and put together your own eclectic art deco mix! Just search "place settings" in the search box at the top.
Place setting is in overall excellent, used condition. Just the normal light fine surface scratching you would expect to find with a used set. There may be some minor scratches on the fork tines. No Monograms. No dents or bends in the metal. The pieces are super shiny and clean with no dullness of the finish and no plate wear. Gently hand polished and then hand washed and dried so it is ready to be given as a gift or for your own use.
If you are wondering what the designer had in mind when creating this pattern, here is how the company advertised it: 'Caprice...Tiny flowers, half-hidden, half-revealed, sparkle in their silver loveliness as winter's draperies are drawn aside. Caprice, a truly American design, is simplicity softened by rich decoration and denotes gaiety and entertaining in the true American manner.' So, the handle end is a curtain drawn back to partially reveal a bouquet of fresh flowers!
Price is for one 5 piece Caprice place setting. Check the quantity available at the upper right of the listing to see how many place settings are available.
