This is a large or oversized cup, possibly early English ironstone or USA semi-porcelain, unmarked. It has an early utilitarian ear-shaped handle and a gold gilt ribbon design on the front and back. Probably early 1900's.
Measures 3-3/4" tall with a 4" diameter across the top (not including the handle).
This mug is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It is covered with a light fine all over crazing but it doesn't stand out in a detracting way. The crazing has some very light discoloration on about the bottom 1/3 of the interior of the cup, also on the very bottom exterior and there is one craze line on the outside bottom of the cup that is a little darker. Please see photos. There is also wear to the gold trim around the top of the cup and some on the decorated sides. A neat piece from the past!
