Vintage 1938 Patented Mazer Pastel Fruit Salad Poured Glass Flowers Bracelet. This rare vintage bracelet was patented by Louis Mazer in 1938. I never cease to be amazed that a piece this old can look this good! Mazer produced several versions of this bracelet…some with large flowers, some with small flower and some in different color combinations. This is the large flower version. Each of the 6 pink glass flowers measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter and is accented by a 14-stone, pave set domed rhinestone center. Between each of the pink flowers is a four petal pale blue flower with a single rhinestone center and four tiny silver tone rhinestone leaves. The back is shiny silver tone with a bright rhodium finish. The clasp is a locking insert that virtually disappears when closed.
The bracelet is 7-1/4 inches long by 3/4 of an inch wide. It is in exquisite condition! I have examined this under magnification over and over again and the only flaw I see is a teeny nick on one pink flower petal point. The rhinestones are super bright and clear and despite my pictures, there are NO dark stones. The rhodium finish is strong, shiny and unmarred. Although unsigned, this is a known and patented Mazer design (I have included a photo of the patent drawing).
Vintage Mazer jewelry has been one of my passions for many years and this rare bracelet is from my personal collection.* You won’t believe its luminosity until you hold it in your own hands…it positively glows! Don’t miss this opportunity to own an iconic piece of vintage costume jewelry!
