Vintage Unsigned Joseph Mazer Jomaz Escalier Ruby Rhinestone Bracelet. This vintage beauty comes from my personal collection. Although unsigned, this is a known design of early Joseph Mazer, circa 1948-1955. The design, in its fine jewelry incarnation, was called “escalier” for its moving staircase appearance and was produced by French jewelers C*rtier and B#ucheron in the 1920s and 1930s.
The bracelet is host to 32 ruby rhinestone baguettes, 1 clear baguette at the push clasp and 132 clear round rhinestones. It measures 6.5 inches long by 3/8 inches wide. It is in excellent condition. The rhodium finish is shiny bright, and the stones are intact and clear, showing no evidence of age. It's a dazzler and much nicer than my pics show. I've seen the clear version a few times but never a ruby and clear.
