Vintage 14K White Gold Opal & Diamond Cluster Ring. This delightful diminutive opal cluster ring dates to the late 1970s. A vibrant oval opal measuring 3.8 mm by 6.3 mm graces the center. This opal has a lively, excellent display of color with reds, pinks, blues and greens depending upon viewing angle. (Opal is not a doublet or a triplet.) It is surrounded by 10 single cut diamonds with a combined weight of .10 carats, and two square-cut, angle-set diamonds also totaling approximately .10 carats. The mounting is 14 karat white gold. The interior is marked © IGP-14K on one side and GARLAND on the other. The entire ring top measures 11.1 mm by 10 mm.
Its condition is excellent. Currently, it is a size 4-1/2 but it can be easily sized to fit your finger by the jeweler of your choice.
Quite lovely and my pics don’t do it justice. It is a showy ring. The diamonds are sparklers and the opal is just luscious!
Opal is the birthstone for October.
