Circa 1978 towards the end of Fostoria’s glass production period they produced a “Designer Collection” that was really Art Glass - no two pieces were alike. These were normally signed in script on the base like this one “Fostoria ‘78”. The color is Opal on the interior surrounded/cased with Black/Ebony glass and then Crystal on the exterior. This required additional hand work to produce. The vase is approximately 6” (H), 1-7/8” (W) at the outer rim and 2” (W) at the round flat base. Condition is excellent without chips, cracks, repairs an no internal staining. (191)
