Circa 1932 - 1953 this is a hard-to-find ball jug with Portia etching on Gold Krystol (Yellow) color with a Crystal handle. The Portia etch is gold encrusted and unfortunately it does show wear from use along the rim, handle, foot & on the bowl. The jug is approximately 9” (H) with an ice lip, 7” (w) at the bowl and 3.5” (W) at the round base. This jug is the ball jug (#3400/38) and holds approximately 80 ounces. Although the gold shows wear the glass is fine without chips, cracks and internal stains (just a very tiny bit at the base which is normal due to the design of this jug which makes it hard to clean & dry. There is also normal scuffing beneath the base. (203)
