Circa 1920’s - 1940’s the Cambridge Glass Co. designed & produced a huge line of flower frogs - many were female figurines like this “Draped Lady” which was probably the largest and most popular line. This Satin Moonlight Blue frog is 8-1/2” (H) and 3-1/2” (W) at the base. The 1-1/2” thick base has 10 holes which were used to hold the flowers in a standing position within a centerpiece bowl with water. Condition of the frog is good - however there are some mineral deposits from sitting in water along with the normal bubbles & mold marks and a few small inclusions from use (they are chips, but look like small fractures along the bottom rim - not visible when standing.
