Circa 1913 - 1957 this pattern was designed by A.J. Sanford and was a popular pattern for over 40 years. Of all the colors it was produced in Hawthorne, light lavender, is probably the most desirable. This puff box is clearly marked with the Heisey logo, H in a diamond. This is a 3 part set which includes the base (bowl), cover and Crystal insert that separated the powder from the puff applicator. The cover and base have the Yeoman diamond optic and are Hawthorne colored, while the insert is plain & Crystal. It measures approximately 4" (H) with cover, 4-1/4" (W) at the base & rim. The round insert is 3-1/2" (W). The condition of all parts is excellent - without chips or cracks. A nice piece of Heisey to add to any collection.
