Circa 1930's this elegant handled glass basket was not easy to produce by hand and took a considerable amount of skill to blow, polish and affix the twisted handle. It has leaf prunts on either side where the handle is fused to the bowl. The color is a vibrant cobalt blue referred to as Ritz Blue by Morgantown. The basket measures 12" (H) from foot to top of handle, approximately 10" (W) at the scalloped rim and 3-1/2" (W) at the round, flat & hand polished pontilled base. Condition is excellent without chips, cracks or staining. These were probably used as vases for floral arrangements.
