Circa 1920's - 1930's Rock Crystal was an early pressed Depression glass pattern. Colors like this red tall footed candy are hard-to-find and highly sought after especially when in excellent condition. This piece is 10-1/2" (H) with lid, 4-1/4" (W) at the rim and 3-1/2" (W) at the octagonal shaped foot. The entire exterior of the candy bowl, foot & lid are impressed with a scrolled floral pattern. The base is a fiery red while the lid compliments it but also has amberina where the glass is thinner. Condition is great without chips or cracks. It does have slight imperfections like bubbles in the finial and straw marks on the body but these are normal and don't deter from the beauty of this candy.
