Circa 1928 this pattern, No. 33, has been referred to as "Triad" & "Pyramid", but the pattern name "Modernistic" is most often used. The Modernistic pattern is quite sought after & collectible today. Unfortunately with all the pointed corners it was often chipped when used. However, this vase is mint without chips, cracks and without internal water staining. It is 8-1/2" (H) & 4-1/2" (W) at the rim & 3-3/4" wide at the foot. The triangular foot/base has 3 stair steps from the foot to the bowl. There are 3 panels on the triangular vase and each is etched with a very deco style etch that I have not been able to ID. You will be pleased with this beautiful piece of early New Martinsville.
