Circa 1940 - 1957 this decanter has a Crystal bowl with a Crystal stopper overlayed in sterling silver and marked Sterling. This decanter is oval in shape and a bit squat - flat not footed. The rim is highly polished, as well as the pontil under the base. There is the tiniest bit of residue in each (which I have not tried to clean) yet both are crisp & clear not water etched. One has the tiniest pin head nick on the rim - which I mention for full disclosure, but otherwise both bottles as well as the stoppers are in great shape - no chips or cracks. These measure 8-1/4" (H), 6-1/2" (W) & 2-1/2" (D). The opening at the rim is 1-3/4" (W) and the oval base is 2" (W) x 3" (L). Each sherry decanter holds approximately 16 ounces. These decanters are priced each - if you order both we will discount shipping/insurance and refund after shipping.
