Circa 1947 this Crystal Cape Cod bitters bottle was produced by Imperial. Cape Cod was one of the most successful of all Imperial patterns. At one time there were close to 300 different pieces being produced and the production period was 1931 - 1983. Quite a long time compared to other glass patterns. The bitters bottle is 7" (H) with the metal tube in place & 5-1/2" (H) without. It is 3" (W) at the bowl and 2-1/8" (W) at the hexagon shaped foot. Condition is good - without chips or cracks, but has some light staining from use - yet the bottle is mostly bright & clear. The metal tube has intact cork but some pitting on the metal from use.
