Circa 1928 the Fontaine pattern is one of the most sought after and hard to find of Tiffin's early etchings. The etch depicts birds flittering at a fountain. Lenox developed a China pattern, Fountain, that is used in place settings with Fontaine. This vase measures 8-1/4" (H), 2-7/8" (W) at the mouth and 3-3/4" (W) at the foot. This piece is in excellent condition without chips, cracks & water staining. It has a tiny glass bubble along the inside edge of the rim which was normal for these hand wrought pieces.
