Circa 1947 - 1950, featured is a hard to find Fenton Coin Dot #894 decanter in Cranberry Opalescent with a Crystal handle and stopper. This particular decanter pattern was only produced by Fenton for 3 years which is one reason it is so desirable today. It measures 11-1/2" (H) with stopper in place and 10" (H) without. It is approximately 5-1/2" (W) at the center and 3-3/4" wide at the foot. The opening is flared & crimped and is 3-3/4" (W). The decanter is in excellent condition without chips, cracks and staining - little wear considering the age. The stopper has a small nick on the base or the part that fits into the bottle which is not visible when seated in the decanter. These nicks are relatively common and could have been there when made. The stopper fits snugly into the decanter. You will not be disappointed in this early piece of Fenton art glass.
