Circa 1880’s - this Marigold Carnival glass bowl/plate was produced by the Belmont Glass Co. It has the letters of the alphabet embossed along the wide, flat rim and numbers embossed within the bowl and a flying Stork with a baby in its long bill at center. An amazing piece that is over a 100 years old and was probably intended as a baby gift. It is 1.25” (H), 7.5” (W) at the rim and 5.25” (W) at the round base. The flared rim is 1-1/8”” (W) Condition of the glass is excellent without chips, cracks or straining. Just the normal mold flaws, bubbles & straw marks. (D-27)
