Circa 1935 - 1954 the Rose Point etch #1041 was Cambridge’s most popular etched line. In addition, it was the preferred glassware line for young brides. A lot of Rose Point can still be found today, however specialty items like cigarette boxes are harder to find because they were primarily used for entertaining during parties & get togethers to play cards. Today smoking items like these are very collectible. This box is 4-1/2” (L), 3-5/8” (W) & 2-1/8” (H) with the domed lid. The lid is domed unlike the others listed and the piece has square corners unlike the faceted corners of the other boxes. It is in perfect condition - without chips or cracks - both lid & base.
