Circa 1940's featured is a cobalt blue rocket-footed (3-footed) altar candle. A real unusual piece easily identified as New Martinsville due to the unusual design with the three feet which is part of the No. 4526 - 4527 vase line. This piece is embossed under the foot with "REX". It was probably created just for churches. This one came from the "Our Lady of Mount Carmel" chapel in Lafayette, Louisiana. The measurements are 10-1/4" (H), 3-3/4" (W) at opening, 5" (W) at outer rim of top and approximately 7" (W) foot to foot. This piece is mint without chips,cracks or repairs to feet or rim. There are distinctive loops that extend up from each of the 3 feet to within 1/4" of the rim. You will not be disappointed with this unusual piece.
