Circa 1928 featured is a Tiffin Glass Co. pattern #8153 green Fontaine rolled edge centerpiece bowl. This piece measures 13" in diameter and is 2-1/2" (H). Fontaine is a highly sought after pattern and is used in table settings along with the Lenox "Fountain" pattern. This bowl was most probably used for floral arrangements as a table centerpiece. The bowl has a polished pontil - typical of Tiffin's early finer elegant glassware. It does have light scratching under the foot and along the top of the rolled edge but no chips or cracks.
