Circa 1937 - 1957 featured is a Heisey Crystolite pattern # 1503 covered candy with a glass Scottie, Sealyham Terrier, finial mounted with ormolu on the metal lid. This candy is unique due to the Heisey glass animal finial. The glass Scottie finial was produced from 1941 to 1946. The round glass base is marked on the inside with an "H" in a diamond, Heisey's well known logo. The Scottie is not marked, but is definitely Heisey. The candy measures 5-1/2" (H), 6-7/8" (W) round base and 5-7/8" (W) at opening. The tarnishing on the lid is as found but all glass parts are in excellent condition without chips or cracks.
