Circa 1930's McKee & Bros. Glass Co. Jadite Cereal canister. This square canister has a metal screw-on lid which does show wear from use, however the glass canister itself is in great condition with little wear and no chips or cracks - just typical roughness along the rim where the lid was screwed on, but no chips. These rims look like they were never finished or fire polished like the Jeannette canister, but rather left rough. The block letters "Cereal" are clear and clean and only slightly faded from age and use - pretty normal. The canister measures approximately 6-1/4" (H), 2-3/4" (W) at the opening and is 3-1/4" square at foot to just below the collared neck at the top.
