Circa 1930's this Jeannette Glass Co. Jadite canister comes with an original vintage screw-on metal lid measuring approximately 4" (W) which is in good but used condition. The canister is approximately 7-7/8" (H), 3-3/4" (W) at the top and 4-1/8" (W) at the foot. The bottom of the base is embossed with what looks like a "J" in a triangle and possibly patent number 2114-3. The canister is clean and without chips or cracks. The concentric rings encircling the canister are in great shape. The rim opening is also mint without chips, roughness or cracks. The silk screened "Sugar" is in block letters all in excellent shape without much if any wear. Someone really treasured this sugar canister or didn't use much sugar.
