Circa. 1920 — 1930’s this vase is part of Consolidated’s sculptured glassware line known as Martele which includes many different patterns. It has embossed Birds, Branches & leaves in the decoration. It was meant to be similar to the French Lalique line of glassware items. The top of the vase is hand-polished as were most of the early pieces produced in this line. The vase is 6.5” (H), 4.25” (L) x 2.25” (W) at the rim and 2.25” (W) x 3.5” (L) at the flat base. The flashing is in excellent shape with very little if any wear. The hand-polished rim has a very tiny 1/8” nick which is shown in the photos but I’ve noticed most of these hand polished rims are slightly imperfect due to the hand-work involved & it is approximately 100 years old. Otherwise this piece has no damage - chips, cracks, repairs and no internal staining from use. (222)
