In my research on Seikosha clocks I noted that this was the clock manufacturing arm of the Seiko Co. which was established in 1892. This clock based on style and winding mechanism is probably a desk or mantle clock from the 1940’s. It actually does wind-up and work. It measures 6-1/4” x 2” in width at the foot, 4” (H) and 2” (deep). The glass has a chip on the back and adjacent side and a few minor nicks - all of which do not detract from it and hopefully will be visible in the photos. (204)
