Circa 1960's. 20" by 16". Stretch canvass on frame with staples. Signed Perry.
Done in the style of Margaret Keane or Peter Max Style Art Work. Purchased many years ago by my client at a festival because it reminded her of her 2 little girls (both are over 50 now). She called it "Sisters". I think the faces are outlined with marker or ink with the face features in water color. The big eyes have that precious moment look to them. The hair and outfits are done in a thick acrylic paint stroke. There is an overall tarnish effect to the painting. I don't know if it was done like this or a result of age.
It's a wonderful piece of ....great 60's portrait art. It is signed Perry. No frame. The staples attaching the canvass to the frame are rusty with aged.
