Circa pre 1975. Size 10 or larger (ring has a ring guard inside that could be cut out to make bigger fit). Marked RN with steer horn like symbol.
I have consulted all my books and cannot determine who did this ring. It is of Navajo design, similar to many pieces I own. This treasure features a large single turquoise that has mellow in color (with age) set in a cord rope design with feather and 3 small round rain drops. It has a double shank that blends into one. The silver has a lovely patina...I will not clean or polish.
This ring was purchased many years ago by a college professor of languages who travel extensively. When he died his wife had the silver guard put in to wear on her middle finger.
It shows it age, it has seen much...that is what makes it so special.
