RARE TIMEPIECE CASKET VIENNA circa 1840
This Splendid Antique Timepiece crafted of blue tinged enamel, has been set with jewels within a bronze dore case shows overall hand painted vignettes in the Louis XVI style .....castles, putto, mandolin playing gentlemen, elegantly dressed noblewoman, all for a truly stunning result.
Beautifully decorated in clear colors of pink and blue, this Sevres style timepiece casket was created by a superior artist, the details of this exceptional "petite treasure " rendered with impressive skill is all about his amazing workmanship and creativity. This casket would have been commissioned for a person of wealth.
