BRONZE FIGURAL STUDY, JOSEPH PETRUSKA , circa 198o
This bronze study by the realism artist Joseph Petruska called "Life Beginning Anew", is a smaller edition of the original found at a major public installation in Canada. All of Mr. Petruska 's works send a very clear message....."The earth is a gift,... it is for you to cherish and protect for generations to come. "
The sense of realism beyond reproach, every tiny detail in this model is captured with perfection and the patina is full and rich..... the wind swept split leaf, with it's acorn still attached, bending against the wind is a most powerful work . Protecting the universe is one of our greatest challenges.. Petruska's message resonates...." the environment is ours, we must protect and live in harmony with it, Save the Trees"
