A 1964 Sarah Coventry pin and earrings set that was named "Symphony" The sweeping wave design seems modernistic for the mid century period in which it was produced.
The metal plating has a cross hatched florentine finish in gold tone and the edges have a reticulated twisted rope pattern. Creamy white faux pearls were added.
Most of the Sarah Coventry jewelry in this shop came from an original collector-dealer's big close out/estate sale due to her passing. The story given was that she safely stored the excess inventory for a long time that were originally intended for resale, so many S.Cov. items offered here were never used.
Size: The pin is 2.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. The earrings are 1.5 inches long by 0.75 inches wide.
Condition: Excellent for all pieces.
Maker: The earrings are signed as "Sarah Cov" on the backs and as patent pending. The pin is signed on the back "Sarah Cov" with the copyright on a raised pad.
