A charming Victoria C & E full size tea cup and saucer set with that calming light green color. It features a colorful flower bouquet pattern in pinks, yellow, blue, violet and white with gilt decorations. The rims have a gentle scalloped edge. C & E is Cartwright and Edwards Longton, England (1859 - 1987) a pottery and china company. They took over the Victoria Pottery Co. (est. 1882) there in 1912.
Both pieces of the set are fully hallmarked and were produced sometime between 1912 to 1926 as the “Ltd” designation is missing which was not added until 1926.
This pattern is not to be confused with their pattern number CAE33 which is very similar. The condition is excellent.
