A vintage necklace signed “Japan” that is made with three strands of baroque faux pearls in cream color. There are natural looking glass beads that simulate the gemstones of turquoise, amethyst and jade. Accent beads of pierced gold tone hollow balls are used and tiny amber color seed beads on the third strand. The clasp has filigreed bead cups.
The clasp is silver tone color. Three pearls on each clasp bar have lost their nacre shown in the last picture. Also, one small pearl under the clasp has a yellow blemish on one side. This isn’t distracting due to the location. The necklace is priced low with this in mind. Otherwise, the other beads and components are in very good condition.
The shortest strand at top is 18.0 inches long. The longest strand at bottom is 20.0 inches long. There is also an adjustable extension length of 3.0 inches. It’s signed “Japan” on the hook clasp.
