Superb Effanbee Dy-Dee Dolls, Clothing and Accessories
Vintage 1962 absolutely stunning and adorable Madame Alexander doll baby in Mint Condition.
LARGE 20" soft and plump baby comes all original... but she can wear the same outfits made by 'Mal' for the Effanbee Dy-Dee Lou and Baby Dear dolls.
This is the special edition "Mary Cassatt Baby" doll, using the same mold as the popular and loveable KITTEN baby doll, only with longer platinum blond curls. She has chubby 'bent limb' baby legs, and that ever so endearing "closed fingers/pointy finger" right hand, like Baby Dear and others of that decade.
Beautiful cloth body and vinyl limbs are immaculately clean. No flaws that I can find, other than her crier works only intermittently. Her wrist tag has bit of paper cut from the bottom of the outside cover of the 4-sided tag. She has bright, sparkling blue eyes that open and close perfectly with all lashes present and even. Her light blond hair is in its original set -- super soft and shiney with pretty curls all around. Her outfit is complete with dress, pinafore, bloomers, hat, shoes and socks.
All original -- complete with wrist tag, tagged outfit, and the most charming countenance.
Appears to be in MINT CONDITION with no fading to the fabric or the baby herself.
